Great price for a great router
The setup for this router was extremely simple. Plug the device into a power outlet and Modem, boot up your computer, toss in the included disk, follow a few instructions, and you're set.During the setup, a Router Monitoring program is installed. This gives you quick and easy access to options should you wish to access more advanced setings. It is not necessary if you stick to the default.I had previously attempted to setup a Buffalo WZR-HP-G300NH, which was highly recommended to me by friends who have used it successfully. After nearly pulling out all my hair, I ended up returning the device. For some reason the wireless signal would not detect properly. I returned it as recommended by Buffalo support and tried another. Same issue, so I sent the second back as well. From there I went with a D-Link DIR-655. It took some tweaking and manual channel switching before it would work, but at least it worked. After hooking up the Belkin N150, I...

Not perfect for everyone, but certainly easier to install than most wireless routers
I've been using this router: for the past five years, with a few problems relating to security settings, installation and reliability. Thus, I was nervous to mess with a home network that was 'currently' working well, but when the Amazon Vine program offered me the chance to try out the Belkin N150 Wireless N Router I thought I'd give it a go. This router promised an easy installation, and as I have experience many difficult ones, I knew I'd know if it truly was 'easy' or not.INSTALLATION:One of the negatives for this product was immediately apparent - poor setup directions. Yes, if you can look at a picture and figure things out, you'll get the gist, but it's not what I would call clear. The manual is on the included CD, but since that's step 3 according to the...

Greatly enhances wireless network coverage and signal quality
Recently I performed some wireless network troubleshooting for a client who owned a popular restaurant in a busy downtown district where wireless congestion was common. We tried switching wireless channels on their Wireless-G network using tools such as nSSIDer for assistance with analyzing the spectrum, but we didn't have any luck in improving the signal. The problem was that in the front area of the restaurant, guests could easily connect and use the internet without any trouble. But near the back of the establishment, thanks to distance of greater than 75 feet or so and a couple of large brick walls, the signal quality and strength was terrible. Worst of all, the offices were in the back of the building, roughly 100 feet away, and three or more walls separated them from the router.Eventually we settled on this product. Once it arrived, setup was a breeze. I plugged it into a wall socket, gave it a moment to initialize, and then logged into its web server backend...

Perfecto!
Hallelujah! I now have wireless all over the house (3000 sq ft). I have tried another repeater device (are you listening ASUS?). Worked for a couple of days, never had much of an extended range. It would lose the signal frequently. Finally gave up. Now this one, this is the champ. So easy to set up. Used my laptop. Disconnected my wireless connection. Plugged in the Diamond. Connected the Ethernet cable (enclosed) to the Diamond and the laptop. Opened Firefox. There was the setup interface. A couple of clicks and I was in business. I plugged in the Diamond in the hallway, and now I have a great signal all the way to the far end of the house. Get this one. So easy. More importantly (well, just as importantly) it works. Happy, happy.

Can't believe it worked!
Our house is pretty long, and it just so happens that my bedroom is located on the extreme opposite end of where our wireless internet is set up. I've always had to come to the middle of the house to get internet signal on my laptop, and for years I never realized it could be fixed with a simple $60 gadget (that really was super simple to set up). One thing about the instructions is that it says to turn off your wifi and plug an ethernet cable into the repeater, but I personally thought it was much easier to just use the wireless and manually select the repeater's wifi identity (and remember that the password it will ask for is located on the back of the repeater). I'm actually writing this review from my bedroom and I just finished watching a streaming episode of TV on Hulu...AND my new Google TV in my room is able to connect to the internet now too. Highly recommend.

Best repeater/extender on the market!!!
I have a larger house and have gone through many range extenders. (Linksys, Netgear, Hawking, Belkin) I also use a Amped SR300 at my office at work and it works great. I must say from using all repeaters i could find so far, Amped repeaters are the best. Performance and interface wise they are top notch. So... when they came out with the SR10000 i was very excited to try this in my 5000 sq foot home. My wife and children like to use their IPads in the backyard by the pool and my current setup wasn't cutting it. Anyways, i got one of these, went through the very simple setup and was up and running in about 2 minutes. This one is more advanced then the SR300 one with an updated interface so it was a pleasure to use. the range is about double also. i love it. Amped about Amped!

works really well, easy set up w/good directions
Our broadband connection is an office separated from our house by about 100 feet. Never been able to get wifi in the house before. Did some research and bought the Amped Wireless high power smart router (wireless n 600 mw) and the high power smart repeater (wireless n 600 mw). The router got wifi throughout the house, from 3 bars to 5 bars on my Kindle Fire. With the addition of the repeater, we now have 5 bars of wifi everywhere in the house. The set up for both took me less than an hour - and I've never touched a router before, nor am I especially techie. The setup instructions were very clear and setup was easy. Very happy with the purchase.

Maybe Not 10K But Still the Best!
Would have given 4 ½ Stars if that were an option. It's not so in fairness have to give it 5 Stars.I've tried several repeaters/extenders the second best which I just returned was the Wireless-N Extender Kit XAVNB2001 which uses house wiring to extend you WIFI to a secondary unit thus extending your WIFI to uncovered area. That unit performed Very well, but I found if I had many electrical devices turned on it would interfere with the unit and access wasn't possible. After searching and discovering that amped had a new High Power offering I read the reviews and decided to give it a tried. I find user reviews are extremely important to read before buying. It's a shame that both positive and negative false reviews are planted, but usually they are easy to spot.In any case my previous number one Netgear has been replaced with my New No.1 amped SR10000.My Findings after 2 Days:1) amped SR10000 rated for 10,000 sq ft : I feel this is area is over rated, I'd...

simplicity manifested through gophone
I've just bought this phone over the past weekend at BB for $15 and bought $25 airtime.Service:So far, I have to say I am quite happy with it. I previously had T-Mobile prepaid but had to switch because I had no service in my house. After switching to AT&T, I can actually make calls/texts in my house. The service is quite cheap as well, I am on the Simple Rate plan. It costs $.10/min to talk which gets deducted from your prepaid balance. Standard texting costs $.25 per text, but I bought 200 messages for $4.99 that lasts for 30 days (Comes to $.02/text).Cell Phone:The phone was super cheap and yet it is quiet sturdy. There is no exterior screen, making it that much more stable/energy efficient. It is quite possibly the simplest phone you can buy new on the market. It does not have the capacitive touchscreen that you will find on an iPhone, it does not have an HD screen, nor does it let you scroll through the internet like you would on your...

A solution-painless replacement of a lost phone on a family plan
My stepson lost his mother's cellphone. The phone, which my wife did not like much anyway, was on my family plan. My wife prefers clamshell phones so my plan to pass her down my IPhone 3GS was not met with any enthusiasm. So how did I get her a new cellphone, one she likes, put it on the plan, and not extend my plan by another two years? This phone is the answer. First it's a clamshell. Second it is priced right. Third, AT&T will put in a new SIM card for her family plan number. Finally none of this extends my existing plan should I want to switch providers (and I am not sure I do since AT&T is getting better). Now please note that by installing a new SIM card, this becomes a regular cellphone on my plan. It is no longer a prepaid phone. The voice quality is quite good. It has a camera, which my wife is unlikely ever to use. It has what it calls "Apps" was are a few limited and unimaginative mini-programs. It can text, another feature my wife won't...

Great low cost smart phone
I purchased 2 of these phones for my college aged children. At college and home the students have full WiFi coverage so they don't need a data plan ($0). Using Google voice and WiFi they have full smartphone functionality with no monthly bill, and the kids love the phone. Almost all Android software will run except some of the really high power games that require a dual processor. Purchase a $100 go phone card and you basically get a smart phone for about $20 a month. (including the purchase price and the 1 year service plan) The battery seems to last for days even though the kids are using the phone ALL THE TIME. Only time will tell if the phone will hold up, but at this price the phone only has to last 3 months before we break even versus a traditional plan. I might buy a 3rd for me.

A long trip
I bought this phone as a personal phone. I have a work cellphone through AT&T, but it's very basic. I wouldn't say I use my personal phone for much more than texts and the occasional call. I originally went with Straight Talk since I didn't want to pay a lot for monthly service. While with them for a year, I had 4 different phones. Only one was a touchscreen and it had made me wonder if touchscreen phones are just not made for me. This past December, I decided it was time to get a new phone. I tried one of Straight Talk's Androids, but even though Sprint is listed as having excellent coverage at my home address, I could not get any reception inside and only 1 bar outside. A Sprint rep told me to try their prepaid services instead of Straight Talk's. I tried an HTC on Virgin Mobile and had no reception. I returned it and tried a Motorola on Boost Mobile, no reception. I should add that the area I live in has very good - excellent coverage on all the major networks, including full...

I considered an Lg Thrive but didn't like the price point or weight of the phone. Saw this in the AT&T store. I liked the feel of it and the size of the screen. I have had it for about three weeks now and have no complaints. I think this is a good prepaid android phone and a steal at $149.
