The perfect compact size unlocked cellphone!
I read a couple of reviews from users who mentioned this cellphone "is not unlocked" or "didn't/wouldn't work worldwide".Before I purchased the phone, first thing I did was to check up the technical "specs" on Samsung's website, where I found out this device has a dual band support only: GSM 850 and 1900Mhz, I made sure to go to my available cellphone carries' website and get accurate information whether the phone will work with these networks or not.Item arrived in excellent condition; As published in Amazon it's a brand new unlocked device.I immediately placed an unused/unactivated SIM card from an international phone carrier (Telcel) and it worked at perfection, then I switched to another carrier's SIM card this time Movistar and wow! it worked excellent!Not forget to mention package includes: charger, battery (fully charged) a couple of booklets and some paper stuff.To understand (and maximize) the full functionallity on the phone I highly...

In todays world were there is many different phones to choose from and many of those phones have fancy features such as internet and such this phone is a beacon in the darkness. For one i know myself and other get frustrated with the short battery life of phones these days, well as an eye opener this phone holds its charge for a miraculous 4 Days. While there may be no camera this phone is well worth the loss. If you are still determined to have internet on your phone ATT offers a plan for $10 giving you unlimited data, even better than expensive smartphones. This is the phone that you want to have if you are a senior there is nothing complicated about this phone if myself who is a techno dinosaur have figured out how to sent and receive a text message. Pros -1) Good reception and this phone beats Sony-Ericsson, Samsung, Motorola (Razr) and Blackberry in this regard.2) Sturdy but small and compact. Great Phone If You Have A Hearing Problem
Let me start by saying I don't need a phone with a ton of bells and whistles, but I do need to be able to hear when it rings and hear the person I am talking to. This phone meets, maybe even exceeds, my hopes. For the benefit of anyone with the same problem, go into "Profiles" where you are asked to choose between "normal", "meeting", "vibrate" and "outdoor". Since these seemed to indicate how you might be notified, in other words, a louder ring tone if outdoors than in a meeting, I selected "outdoor". When asked to indicate volume, showing 3 or 4 colored buttons, I activated them all. I then went to tones and decided on "desk phone" instead of music and "ascending". I then called my cell phone from another phone and was overjoyed to find that I could hear the cell phone's ring more clearly than my home phone. I am an international traveler and thought of buying this phone so that I can use local GSM SIM card of the country I travel to. It works well with Germany, India & Australia service providers. Perfect for talking and texting
I was looking for a flip-phone that had good call and sound quality and would be easy to text with. This phone is perfect for both, without any extra features or apps (which I didn't want to spend money on to begin with).I have owned and used this phone for about a week now, with T-mobile.It's speaker volume and clarity as well as when you hold it up to ear are both excellent. This is a great simple phone if you are looking for basic functions only. It's nicely sized, not too bulky to fit in a small pocket, and is very light. Connected to my bluetooth ear-piece easily, and worked well. The only thing is the phone is made of plastic which makes me want to get a rubberized cover for it in case it falls or gets scratched. Over all I am very pleased with this phone!

Good cheap phone, sturdy. But you will NOT be able to get the photos off of it with a cable if you use prepaid.
Everyone in our family has these and we use them with T mobile prepaid. They are good phones for the price, loud sound, can use bluetooth and big buttons for dialing.However, you will NOT be able to get the photos off of it with a cable or Bluetooth. You have to send them to your email, which costs minutes on prepaid. The ability to do so is disabled on the Tmobile prepaid version of this phone. The guys at the store do not know this, and sold me a cable. After speaking to Tmobile when struggling to download photos I was told this was true.

Great phone for a good price
I really like this phone. I bought it because I had work in South Africa for 3 months and needed something that I could put a local sim card in. I like this phone so much that I think I will keep it and use it when I get back to the States.-Calls are both reliable and clear which I think is the most important thing(it is a phone first after all)-The keyboard takes some getting used to but I think I now prefer it to either a qwerty(takes up too much space w/ too small of buttons for fingers like mine), a touch screen(same finger problem) or a regular keypad. I don't have excessively large hands but I def do have "man" hands so I find many things are not built with me in mind. If this is not your case then you can disregard this part but I find that many of the men I work with and my friends tend to have similar issues.-I didn't really want a flip phone either but now that I have one I am becoming a fan(no pocket dialing or key locking etc.)-Battery...

Buying a smartphone without data plan
Initially I was looking to buy a smartphone from cellphone service providers. Now a days pretty much of them are making dataplan as mandatory. Then I found this unlocked phone in Amazon, price seems to be acceptable compared of other websites. I never had problem with any of the Amazon site products. So I ordered one.BBPearl is very stylish phone, has all the necessary features, I liked the keypad size, feature to connect Wifi and display. It requires extra care since even small scratch will spoil the look of it. Especially if you are person like me who doesn't like wrapping cell phone with protection covers.When I received the package, cell phone package was littlebit dusty but inside all the items were wrapped in covers, everything was clean and working fine. Note that phone has a cellphone service provider logo on it and also hands free ear buds are bigger is size.

I love this cellphone
I simply love this cellphone. As a person who just dislike smart phone, I still like a cellphone that is sleek and stylish. And, after a year of search, I finally found exactly what I was looking for. I used this phone for several months, it worked just great. It worked perfectly fine with AT&T service, and the cellphone surely made AT&T's flip cell phone selection look really dull, not-stylish, and plain-ugly. Also, one thing that I found funny is that, I can record anything with the phone and use it as ring tone or notice. I recorded my wife's voice for text message notice. So, whenever I receive text, I laughed out loud. I highly recommend this phone.

Great Basic Flip Phone With Some Issues
Overall this is a great flip phone. It is sleek and gets the job done for making phone calls.PROS:-Sleek-Very customizable interface-good quality for phone calls-strong battery life (not sure what the other reviewer had wrong with his phone)CONS:-It does NOT have a outside display for caller ID. You must open the phone to look at who is calling-The dialpad sometimes will not pick up a button press.
