Great Phone
THe Phones Works Excelent, great speed, the cam get really great quality... Android + HTC sense is a nice interface... The only issue with the phone is the battery Life, but if you have a car charger and USB cable with you in the office you dont need to worry about it.... if ATT release the gingerbread update will be perfect!

I have it for two weeks and has been excellent.Everything described in the description of the phone is what I saw.An excellent phone, from applications to the release has been wonderful.I recommend it.The only downside is the length of the battery, but I bought two extra batteries and I'm always the data cable and thus the charge into any USB port, so the problem is resolved.Thanks and greetings from Costa Rica

superior amazon service.
I had read all the negative reviews for this phone but the good ones out weighed the bad so I decided to give it a go. The unit I was sent was defective out of the box and I remembered all the people advising against it. I contacted amazon and they immediately sent out a new phone and gave me a ups label to return the defective one @ no extra cost. The second phone has been working perfectly and amazon's superior customer service took some of the sting off of getting a non working unit the first time. On an additional note, all those warnings of poor battery life, I've gotten the battery so far to go 36 to 40 hours btwn charges. over all it has been worth the price, just be sure to buy from amazon directly as you will then have the their guaranty backing you up.

these are tough little phones. but they are little ;)i've had a year of experience with this guy. here's what i know.PROS: Unlockable. Clockwork Recovery. Multiple Custom ROMS and active development community. Responsive clear screen. Pocket size. Hot swappable SD. Abundant Accessories (via amazon ;). After flashing a custom rom you get: Tethering, Overclocking, Faster 3G.CONS: Low battery life (it goes a day with active monitoring and conservative apps. the rapid charger will bring it back to 100% in an hour ;). Pocket size. 800mhz leaves something to be desired but is not unreasonable, especially in this configuration.it's a solid piece of hardware.

Excellent Business & Entertainment Phone
I have been using this phone for about six weeks by now. Before I got the HTC Surround I used Apple's iPhone 3GS, and HTC Touch Pro. I will review not just the phone, because I think the OS is also very important when talking about HTC Surround.Dimensions and CharacteristicsI think the screen size is the same of iPhone's 3G or 4G. Talking about image quality, I can't find any differences between them, of course there might be some technical differences but I am not able to notice them with my eyes :).The phone size is very similar to the iPhone; HTC Surround is a little bigger because of the speaker, but I would say there is no size difference. The built in camera is good and you have a good flash light also which is nice to have when taking pictures in dark ambience.User InterfaceMicrosoft has done a great job redesigning the screens in WP7 with "Metro". Great Windows Phone
The phone is quick and extremely responsive. Reception is clean and clear, the video is sharp and smooth, Setup was a breeze and once I connected to my network surfing was enjoyable, web pages were quick and smooth. I would recommend the phone to all my friends. I have two problems:i. The company advertise the phone as UNLOCKED and it was not.2. The battery life with all the features turned on can be less than a day.The new windows interface takes some getting use to but it is very quick and stable. fantastic buy
got this phone 2 days after purchase, i definitely recommend to all that like their smart phones.windows phone 7 is so easy to use and loads of apps free to download. camera on this phonetakes decent quality pictures alot better than my old sony ericsson w995 which has a 8 mega pixelcamera. battery life last about a day most considering this is constantly keeping up to date with the webapps not bad. htc touch screen is awesome. just now waiting for the new windows phone 7 update

WHY THIS PHONE IS CONSISTENTLY SPRINT's BEST.
My Samsung phone Android experience was slightly different than my HTC Android phone experience. HTC is definitely better, more stable, browsing is better, battery life is worse but the overall quality and the sturdiness of the phone in question is penultimate. Let me try to tell you why I am so enamored by this phone.1. The browsing is excellent, the downloading is quick, the web pages load in seconds and even on 3G the phone is super fast, I have never switched on the 4G for more than an hour and feel it should only be done when you're downloading a very big file. You may wonder what the purpose of 4G is, so well, although the 4G function is there, this phone is faster than any 3G phones available on the network by a mile (Hero, Moment, Optimus S to name a few) So the browsing is excellent.2. This one near has it all
This phone does it all - almost. a great screen large enough to show movies with great definition. the camera and video camera both are great. The programs and applications offered are just amazing. my only wish was for more memory internally. the construction is great. Solidly built. If you don't mind the slightly extra weight then this is for you. On my belt, I dont feel it, but it starts to weigh in while holding it. not that this bothers me too much. My real complaint is the playback audio. Not that great. I would need to play with the settings some more to get what I want. WIth headphones no issues.The programs and responsiveness are good. You don't have to wait forever for applications to load up. In this regard it blows many other phones (BB) out of the water. With this phone that is significantly cheaper I dont feel like I am missing an Apple phone at all. yeah - refuse to call it what its real name is!

The best phone by far!!
I have had this phone for 5 months, and it is by far the best phone I have ever had. I have owned a very many phones over a period of 17 years. Not only did I fall in love with android, but I fell in love with HTC. I was a little leary about getting a phone I knew nothing about, but I trusted my at&t sales rep and bought it. I have had almost no problems with it. I have way to many pictures and text messages on it and it causes it to freeze up sometimes but not much(which can be expected with so much space taken up). I usually just restart it and it is fine. Every so often I go through and delete things to give it a little bit of a break lol. I have never loved a phone as much as I love this one. I have dropped it on my ceramic tile in my kitchen and bathroom and it didn't even have so much as a scratch on it. I also dropped it on my concrete steps in my garage and again nothing happened to it. I have to say if you are going to get a smart phone (or any phone for that matter) this is...

Surprise: phone has a crack on the back and locked to T-Mobile
I bouhgt this 'unlocked' phone to be used with AT&T. I know AT&T insists data plan for smart phones, which I don't need, since I have wifi most of the time. But I also know AT&T closes an eye on non-AT&T smart phones. I'm very happy with the phone, except for a few problems that I encountered:1. The vendor did not disclose a crack on the back cover, and that the phone was actually locked to T-Mobile.2. The phone came with old firmware, probably Android 1.5, I couldn't tell, since I couldn't get pass the google log in (requires network data connection, no Wifi). This first generation firmware only works for people who have T-Mobile account with data plan.3. I went to a T-Mobile store and signed up for T-Mobile prepaid plan, got a new T-Mobile SIM card. But still no network connection. The T-Mobile store wouldn't refund me the $25 cash that I handed to them 10 mins before, although the contract says I can cancel it the first 2 weeks.
